The hotel covers an area of 200 acres with magnificent buildings and complete facilities. It is famous for being the source of the 92℃ hot spring with a history of more than 400 years. The famous WATG (Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo) was invited to design the theme of our buildings and HBA (Hirsch Bedner Associates) was invited to decorate the indoor. These two famous design companies reproduced the classic charm of traditional Chinese architectures successfully: cornices, Dougong Brackets, red pillars and green tiles, which are fine art. Late at night, when orange light is reflecting on tall chinars, thoughts are thronging on our minds. The magnificent buildings, mountains and water depend on each other with their shadows joined; the internality is carefully designed with galleries and verandas connected around as if we were back to the ancient time…

InterContinental Huizhou Resort has 200 rooms including Executive Rooms, Executive SPA Rooms, and Executive Hot Spring Rooms. The smallest room has an area of 56 square meters. All rooms are large and magnificent with private balconies, perfectly integrating traditional and modern decoration styles. They are equipped with 42-inch LCD TV, BOSE acoustics, and IPod docking station and DVD player, providing customers with audio-visual feasts. Mini bars and classic teacarts will provide leisureliness and tranquility. You can enjoy professional SPA in Executive SPA Rooms with professional physiotherapy couches and open-air bathtubs, and open-air hot spring pools in Executive Hot Spring Rooms.
In addition, we have 21 panoramic independent villas which are embedded in green forests in picturesque disorder. They are the essences of the resort for travel & leisure. The area of the villa is 350 to 530 square meters. The gorgeous classic Chinese buildings, four cornices and elaborate Pan-Asia interior design are exquisite and full of warmth. All the villas have unique outdoor dinning tables, private housekeepers, exclusive private hot spring pools and swimming pools.
InterContinental Executive Lounge is equipped with dinning district, internet district, book bar, and small meeting room with good ventilation and broad visual field. Here, you will achieve the spiritual state of “not to be disturbed either by favor or disgrace”. Outside the open balcony, there are lakes and mountains in front of you. However, you will feel extraordinarily peaceful and comfortable inside the room. The perfect combination of the natural and harmonious ecological environment and the holiday-based design style will provide customers with unique experience.
Meanwhile, in order to implement the environmental protection concept of InterContinental Group, all of our daily articles are made from renewable paper or degradable materials. We aim to apply healthy and durable materials to promote the LOHAS concept and ensure that the natural environment can be as greatly protected as possible. All the presswork and stationeries are made from renewable and eco-friendly materials-Congo paper. Oil pikes made from wood pulps are used; as for bathroom articles, plant fiber slippers, biological degradable materials-toothbrush and razor made from corn pulps, wood comb, wardrobe, bath towel and bathrobe are used; eco-friendly paper is used for packaging. Soy bean primary ink is used to print. According to experts, it costs 1,000 years for common plastics buried in soil to be naturally decomposed. But the corn pulp we use will not cause any environmental pollution and can be used as fertilizers as well.

Zhu Yuan
The dining hall in Zhu Yuan is just like a traditional grand residence. Designed according to the spatial layout of the Great Four Gardens in Suzhou, Zhu Yuan boasts the reputation of “Jiangnan Gardens are the finest under heaven and Suzhou Gardens are the finest in Jiangnan”. The dining hall absorbs the essence of garden architectures. Every corner has its own unique style with elegant and warm atmosphere. The carved patterns and down-to-ground screen are quite amazing. Wood auspicious mice, coins and peonies are delicately and vividly curved. The freehand drawing of ladies in the Song Dynasty is used as the tablecloth. The Chinese cultural essence and delicious food are integrated, pushing Cantonese cuisine to superb state.
The dining hall is located on the second floor of the hotel. There are 106 seats including 4 indoor compartments and outdoor dining terraces.
Café Veranda
The Café Veranda are full-time western restaurants with open kitchens. The cuisine varies from western flavor to Asian flavor. There are various new and old wines in our cellar that satisfies different flavor of each dish. The restaurants adopt the vertical arrangement design perpendicular to the scenic surface so that the sight of people sitting in the front and rear seats will not be shielded. The outdoor scenery is introduced to indoor to the largest extent. In this way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain and waters when having meals. Compared to the exterior scenery, the interior landscape is inspired by Chinese landscape painting. The designer extracts elements of branch, leaf, moon, and rock from traditional Chinese landscape painting and reconstructs them to form a structural cubic Chinese landscape painting. The combination of branch silhouette and moon–shaped lights gives birth to the profound and tranquil state. The hanging leaves and bamboo are dancing in the light as if you were in a picturesque landscape painting.
The restaurant is located on the second floor of the hotel. There are 136 seats including indoor and outdoor super-large dining balcony.

No matter in sunny or rainy days, you can not only taste cigar, different aperitif, cocktail, dinner wine and champagne, but also appreciate from the balcony landscape of the lakefront and Spring Island. The bar is located on the third floor of the hotel. There are 78 seats including indoor and outdoor balcony rooms.

According to the authoritative report of Zhongshan Medical School of Zhongshan University, InterContinental Huizhou Resort is a rarely-seen top curing hot spring that contains radon and fluorine. Our spring pools cover an area of 522 square meters with the depth of 80 centimeter. The mineral water is from 60-300 meters underground. The well temperature is between 72.8℃-92℃. The water contains a lot of trace elements and micro sulfureted hydrogen and is famous for its unique health preserving efficacy.
